I. Services

Marguerite is a floral studio that works primarily with local, seasonal ingredients. Based in the Hudson Valley, our work lives in the space between the cutting garden and the wild field edge. We study every stem, branch, and bloom we gather — weighing the potential of its form, hoping to return attention to the quiet abundance that is always underfoot and overhead.

What the studio takes on

a.

Events & Weddings

A handful of celebrations each season, designed around what the fields are actually giving that week rather than a mood board fixed months ahead. We handle installation, tablescapes, and the quiet breakdown afterward — flowers returned to compost, not to landfill.

Weekly & Wholesale Accounts

Standing arrangements for a small roster of shops, hotels, and restaurants who want the garden to change on their counter as it changes outdoors. Delivered the morning it's cut, invoiced by the stem, never the same twice.

Editorial & Styling

Set flowers and living props for photoshoots, product launches, and printed matter. We study each specimen before it's placed — the bend of a branch, the turn of a petal — and light it like the subject it is.

Marguerite was founded in 2019 by Della Hartwell, who came to floristry the long way round — a decade of garden design, and a childhood spent naming wildflowers along the Ozark creek beds.

We're on a deliberate path, and because of it there are projects that don't align with how we work. We ask first whether a partnership shares its values with ours; our feet are planted in the soil we cut from.

Like a murmuration of starlings, we believe that when like minds gather, heads will turn.
